The Bahamas, a beautiful island country stealing the hearts of the tourists and people always gazes at its pleasant weather. A group of 3000 islets, cays and islands go together to make the country of The Bahamas. During the visit, you can experience your mind getting addicted towards the beauty of The Bahamas islands. It brings more and more visitors every year with the beauty of its beaches, coral-reefs, clapboard houses, natural reserves and many caves.
Feel your toes touching the white sand over The Bahamian beaches and your eyes will wide open to view the blue and crystal clear sea water. The sizzling beauty of the islands lies in its dance festivals, hip-hop twists, water sports etc. The Bahamas’ spices and ceramics have a good reputation in the market. Your feels and pulses keep jumping while you watch over the natural beauties of The Bahamas.
English is the official language of The Bahamas with an 85% of the African Bahamian population, 12% of European Bahamians and a combination of 3% of Asian and Latin American population.
The Bahamian History
The Europeans under the leadership of Columbus discovered the islands of Bahamas in the year of 1492. The late 1600s and earlier 1700s can be called as the age of piracy for The Bahamas as it has been their great hiding place for their valuable treasures. They were under the control of England during the year of 1718 and later after Britain and American colonization The Bahamas attained their freedom in the year 1973 having Nassau as its capital city.
Climate of Bahamas
The Bahamas vastly enjoys the climate of subtropical to tropical. The months of September to May have the coolest weather conditions with 21-240 c and warm weather raising up to 27-290c. The hurricane season is during the months of June to November.
