Summary of EOS TELEGRAN
EOS Telegram Summary 1/11/18 - It's All About EOS Telegram
eosgo (59) in eos • 15 days ago
EOS general chat started the day dispelling Korean crypto ban rumors, but first we send thanks to @marty-arts for this excellent submission to the EOS Go Telegram Summary cover art contest:
The day was still very young when Mr. Hobbes and Sukru Day got right to work on the news, first reported by CNBC and Reuters:
Later the rumors were confirmed... as just rumors:
Dan answering questions from the day before about whether EOS is "quantum computer proof":
Questions surrounding the ICO money were answered with an old article, but perhaps soon we'll hear more from block.one CEO Brendan Blumer...
Token holders have been getting more excited about the upcoming Korean meetup, where big names are scheduled to appear and known to make announcements at such venues:
EOS meetups are happening everywhere:
User Scott T was still trying to help Dan achieve goals:
Ian Grigg of block.one, who often comes and goes in spurts of activity, first offered a lesson on manners:
And then a lesson on safety:
Plus some education on the token sale and potential funding, including a hint regarding Brendan Blumer about what's to come...
With bonus information about the chain launch and block producers:
Telegram hype was high after Dan tweeted at them yesterday to run on EOS; user The Cryptofiend tried to dampen expectations:
But Dan made another appearance to clear misconceptions:
Sam wondered whether these types of ICOs from known companies will become more common:
And then it happened, just minutes before the day ended: Brendan Blumer appeared with a livestream video for the EOS Korea meetup:
Over in EOSIO Governance the arbitration, identity, fraud, and DAC structure talk zinged by at hundreds of messages per hour. This is the same channel that had several empty days in December, but ever since Eva showed up in the past week EOSIO Gov has exploded with activity. First, how to think of EOS.IO blockchain governance:
The importance of available arbitration:
Participants had a crisis of confidence:
Ian left:
The popular topic is arbitration but who wants the job?
Over in EOS Developers user Tadas asked for feedback and frontend dev help on his dapp:
Bart and Ian of block.one talking future testnet options:
Finally, in the EOSTalks channel it was all about meetups and developers:
EOS Go is the launch community for EOS - future of the web 3.0 - as envisioned by block.one. Anyone can participate in this historic event by voting with tokens, attending/hosting meetups and launch parties, writing the EOS constitution, picking data centers for block producing, and much more.
If you're interested in being involved with the EOS genesis block, please start by finding your niche on the community forums and resteem or tweet EOS Go to help spread the word.
Check out BeyondBitcoin.club for weekly EOS Talks every Tuesday at 8pm EST with @officialfuzzy @steempowerpics and @africa !

Since you guys are deep in EOS I have a question. Do I need to register my EOS token I have bought on an exchange or is it only for the ones bought on the ICO?

Agreed with @cryptobug - that link is one of the better guides to register tokens. EOS Go will be releasing intuitive updated guides soon on a number of topics, including token registration!

Great to have this abstract information since I don't seem to have enough time to follow these topics in the various social platforms. This is helping a lot!
