Motivation From Great Zimbabwe
When life decides to throw stones at you, I need you to do something unique like never before. In most instances when someone attacks you, you’re most likely to retaliate by means of stoning them too.
Well let’s try a different style from today onwards. The next time they throw stones at you gather them in one place and invest in them. You will notice that for every stone you put aside your pile will grow bigger and bigger. At the end of the day you will have enough stones to erect a wall in the absence of mortar.
This is the same way Great Zimbabwe was built. The structure is a make up of rocks with no mortar holding them together. These walls, in history, became a shelter and also a defence mechanism and today they are part of national heritage.
Now understand this; in life there are people who will always give you negative feedback. They’ll tell you,
you cannot do it, you are not worthy, you do not deserve the good life etc.
These are stones they will throw in your face everyday. Now the question is; what will you do with the stones?
It’s either you will throw them back or gather them and erect your strong wall in the absence of mortar. It will be ideal if you erect your own wall which will be a shelter that would hide away your shame and a defence mechanism that will shame the world from rebuking you.
Just like the Great Zimbabwe ruins you will be remembered for finding motivation in negative situations.
nice this post!
