Today I would like to recommend a documentary called the The Up Series. The documentary is about following 14 British children since 1964 when they were seven years old. Every seven years onward, the director will catch up with the 14 children to see how they have grown and how their lives have changed. There has been eight episodes made so far and the last one was made in 2012 where the kids are now at the age of 56. The Up Series has been listed in the 50 greatest documentaries of all times.

今天我想推介一套紀錄片叫 The Up Series. 這套紀錄片是從1964年開始開拍的．導演選出14名英國小孩記錄他們的成長歷程．導演會每七年從他們七歲開始就會訪問一次．在每個訪問裏面，觀眾可以看到每個主角的改變．最近這一集是在2012拍的，小孩們已經56歲. The Up Series 被選為50之最紀錄片其中之一．

Not every kid will be interviewed throughout their lives as they have chosen to not participate in some episodes. Through each episodes, you can see how each kid have grown-up have their own families, their careers, their friends, and we get an insight on how they feel with their current lives.

Since this documentary was made, new versions have been made by other countries around the world. Hope you enjoy this documentary as much as I have. The next episode will be in 2019.
