Government's Double Standards: Vaping
Hello, friends.
Today I want to talk with you about vaping (in Russia - as an example). This replacement of classic cigarettes entered the market not so long ago. But immediately gained a certain popularity, growing day by day. Yes, of course, a certain proportion of this popularity is people, who pursuing fashion and mainstream. A large proportion of those who want to quit smoking. But there are those who just like it. I belong to such people. I'm never smoking. Because I try to take care of my health. Before start vaping, I tried to find out about it as much information as possible. And all of researches have shown safety in comparison with classical cigarettes by 95% But enough preamble, I want to talk about the other side...
With the advent of this new "hobby" I was faced with an active propaganda of mass media about how all this is harmful, not researched and should be banned. At the same time I have seen the emergence of groups and comments on social networks, about what all, who are vaping - almost imbeciles. Most of the accounts from which these comments were made, were fictitious.
1. Take as a basis that vaping is very bad and dangerous. OK. It necessary to forbid. But, please wait a second... what about the alcohol?! It is dangerous for health, caused by drunk is happening a huge number of accidents and crimes. And danger of it has long been researched and proven. We need to prohibit alcohol!
2. Now take as a starting point researches of other countries and proof of increased, compared with cigarettes, harmlessness. Why would anyone want to spend time and money on creating bought comments and negative opinions?
And regardless of the true version - number one or number two - the answer is clear! This is yet another example of government's double standards! If the government so concerned about our health, why not forbidden classical cigarettes or alcohol? Because the government has a good profit from this! Why does the government want to prohibit vaping? Quite simply, it does not receive from this income. Plus, many of those who smoked classic cigarettes, abandoning it in favor of vaping - the government loses their proceeds!
A couple of weeks ago, I began to notice that this negative pressure is weakening... I had suspected wrong and start to search info in internet. The answer I found quite quickly. The government is preparing a draft of the law about taxation of vaping. It is very cool! Apparently, as soon as the law comes into juridical force, all harmful to health from vaping effects will disappear! Bravo! Long live the government! They without a rest take care of us, our health and our well-being!
