At least 49 people have been killed in the US-Bangla aircraft crash that occurred at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal on Monday, March 12, 2018.

8 July 2017, Nirapad News: The US-Bangla Airlines, one of the country’s private carriers, will start direct flight to Doha, capital of Qatar, from 1st September next as its seventh international destination.

Initially the company will operate four flights to Doha from Dhaka and Chittagong on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday along with return flights, a press release said here today.

The minimum one-way fare Taka 23,385 and return fare Taka 39,264, including all taxes, have been fixed for travelling on the Dhaka-Doha and Chittagong-Doha routes.

The airlines will operate the new routes with 164-seater Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Currently the airlines operates international flights to Muscat, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Kathmandu and Kolkata with Boeing 737- 800
Aircraft.

The company has plans to expand its international operation to Guangzhou, Hongkong, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Abu Dhabi, Chennai, Delhi and many other destinations.

Currently the US-Bangla Airlines owns six aircraft in its fleet out of which, three are Boeing 737-800 and three are Dash8- Q400. Another two Boeing 737-800 aircraft and one DASH8-Q400 will be added to the fleet within August this year.
