A man was released after spending 17 years in prison because they found his lookalike who was the true thief. His doppelganger was the actual culprit. #truestory.

As it turns out back in 1999, Richard Anthony Jones was arrested for armed robbery without any evidence pointing to him whatsoever. Eyewitnesses said that Richard was in the area, the judge found him guilty and he was sentenced. There was no DNA or any fingerprint evidence at all against him. Throughout his time inside Jones appealed several times – all with no success.
The last time he appealed, he heard of another man who looked similar to him and realised that the witness to the robbery could not differentiate between the two. Shockingly, while Jones lived on the opposite side of Kansas City where the robbery took place, Ricky lived exactly where the robbery happened.

Its amazing how this happens in life and he considers himself to be blessed! ME TOO!
