Multi-window mode is something that is incredibly useful for those who love to multitask, as it allows you to consume different kinds of content at the same time. With our phones getting larger and larger every year, the feature is becoming a lot more viable than it was back in the days of 4-inch screens. I remember first being able to do it on my LG G3, way before Google absorbed the feature and implemented it into Android 7.0 Nougat. While it may not be for everyone, many seem to love it, and it seems that OnePlus has changed how you do it just a bit in an attempt to make it easier to access.
Using multi-window on the OnePlus 5 is actually quite simple. First, you’ve got to have the apps you want to split-screen in memory. This means you will have had to have used them but not closed them out, rather simply hit the home button and let them hang out in the background.

Now, use the recents button to pull up all the apps you’ve got running back there. From here, long press on the first app you want to have on the top half of the screen. Not all apps will work with multi-window, but OnePlus will let you know if the app is compatible or not as soon as you long press on it.
If it does, drag it up to the top, where you can drop it and the device will automatically scale it to be half the screen. Now, select the second app you want to use, and it will scale it to the bottom half.

And that’s it! Fortunately OnePlus has made it incredibly easy to access a lot of these features, so you can split-screen your apps with ease.
