My 100km trip for one Picture
Yesterday I wanted a change in scenery so I decided to take my bicycle and ride to another town called Jõgeva. I remembered there was an interesting bus station. It was roughly 50km away. I took a lot of pictures on my way, but in Jõgeva not so much. There simply wasn't much of interest sadly :
I ended up taking 5 long exposure shots from the bus station and combining them to one in Photoshop. I think it came out pretty good. Although next time I'd like position my self better to get the radiotower fully in the picture and not include the gas station sign in the back. Maybe even take it from the other side, get closer and use a wider lens. The architecture is brilliant in my opinion. Reminds me of a snail, a turtle and a ribcage :D
I also took pictures from the old Railway station. It was in really bad shape. The whole roof and it's supports are crooked. I found a date written in concrete with an emblem from 1929. I also included an old photo from the place, because in my hastiness I totally forgot to take an picture of the exterior.
On my way back I wanted to shoot a tree in the wind. Came up with this. Not much, but it's a learning process :)
I find it cool how much can be done with sky in post-processing. Clouds create intricate patterns that just need a little help to make them more visible.
And so I rode back. It was wet and cold, but I had fun. Almost 9 hours passed and 110km got covered just to take a picture :)
*On my way back a big farm vehicle provided me some wind cover. Right at the very end, when this beast had dragged me for almost 5km I decided to take a picture at the same moment it hit the brakes and turned away on a field. Almost crashed :D
I love black & white pictures
This motivates me to grab my camera and go explore something.
