Demi Lovato marries Jesse Williams in heartbreaking 'Tell Me You Love Me' music video

Demi Lovato is tying the knot — well, pretending to in her latest music video, at least.

The Sorry Not Sorry singer dropped the video for her track Tell Me You Love Me Friday, and it features an emotional marriage to Grey's Anatomy actor Jesse Williams.

Before the track even begins playing, we see Lovato and Williams go through a series of couple-y events: their proposal, make-out sessions and fighting.

The fighting, which escalates from suspicious text messages to yelling matches, starts to take a toll on the couple who begin questioning their upcoming marriage.

"It's possible we're not ready," Williams says in the video.

"We're ready," Lovato assures. "I've never been more ready."

After exchanging wedding rings during a beautifully decorated ceremony, Williams throws a plot twist into the seemingly happily ever after — he gives his ring back to Lovato.

"I'm not ready," he whispers to her at the altar before walking away.

The video perfectly matches the emotional and longing lyrics of the track, which also touch on fighting, love and moving on.

"I hope I never see the day / That you move on and be happy without me / Without me... Tell me you love me / I need someone on days like this..."
