Do red leaves have chlorophyll?

Had been on a trek recently to the Killiyur water falls at Yercaud, of the Shevaroy Hills in Northern TamilNadu. On the way these bright red coloured leaves grabbed my attention. I have made the backdrop B&W to emphasize the glowing orange colour which I found very attractive.

However they made me wonder how does a plant with Red Leaves support itself without green chlorophyll, which is a basic necessity for photosynthesis.

Well here goes some explanations I found on the web:

Plant leaves have three primary classes of pigments: chlorophyll, carotinoids and anthocyanins. Most plants with either pigments like carotenoids, usually appear yellow to orange, and anthocyanins, are red to purple.
One pigment usually dominates but chlorophyll is still there.
Plants with leaf color other than green perform photosynthesis just like green-leafed plants (if they did not, they would not live). The chlorophyll needed for photosynthesis is masked among the colorful pigmentation.
