Some of us react more intensely to the music they love to listen. Sometimes the mere hearing of a particular piece work or passage from a favorite song causes waves back and our skin crawl. Why is it, have you ever thought?

According to a new study published in the influential scientific journal Social Cognitive and affective neuroscience , there is a real and deep biological cause some people to experience music better than others. The researchers studied 20 students, half of whom said they bristle when they hear certain music. Scientists have used the technique of diffusion tensor imaging, which is a type of magnetic resonance imaging to explore the differences between the two groups. It turned out that those who bristled music, had a thick volume of brain fibers that connect regions that process audio information and emotions . More such fibers means its effectiveness processing information. According to scientists, this type of people are probably capable and experience more intense emotions in general and not just listening to music.
