The most mysterious book in the world - The Voynich Manuscript

in #conspiracy7 years ago

The Voynich manuscript is an illustrated codex hand-written in an unknown language. It is supposed to date back from the early 15th century (1404-1438) from somewhere in Northern Italy during the Renaissance. The manuscript is named after Wilfrid Voynich, a Polish book dealer who purchased it in 1912.

Some 30 pages are missing out of 272 total. The Voynich manuscript has been studied by many professionals. No one has yet demonstrably deciphered the text and it still remains as an unsolved mysterious case. The mystery of the meaning and origin of the manuscript has excited the popular imagination, making the book a subject of novels and speculation.

It gets even more creepy with the illustrations. The book contains images of flora and fauna completely different from what our planet knows. Some speculate that this book was left here from aliens or that it's just little part from planet Earth's hidden history...

I'd love to read your opinions. What do you think it is?

Sort:

Maybe it was the work of a catholic scientist or artist that was exiled and attempted to create a new society and new language?

Wow. You have a good point!

Recently when programers created something like an artificial intelligence the program perceived that it was different and it invented a new language to talk to itself this reminds me.

Oh yes! I read about that. It was Facebook if I remember correctly. Both AI sides created it's own language and started communication with it and people literally had no clue what is happening. Cool but also quite scary at the same time...

Yes, very! hopefully they found out why it did that and regulate this property in future setups, this could possibly be the first AI emotion, the desire of complete autonomy.
