Lotus pose (Padmasana) how to do it

Lotus Pose (Padmasana) 

 

As I have promised some more detailed instructions on this asana, for what they serve, and that will be most important in next steps.

Firs you have to sit on the floor, then  bend your left leg, then right leg put above your left leg. 

This pose has bin shown in light version on may previous post. I suggest you to do every day for couple minutes, and every day stay in this pose for minute more. ( This is how you will practice your body)

In this pose do not forget for position of your  spine, neck, and head. I explained in my last post!! 

When this pose becomes pleasant, it is time to move to the next level and it is a sit in which both legs are in the correct lotus position.  

As you exercise a lotus pose you can start slowly with exercise your breath, which I will later write in more details. For now, it's enough to flush into the lotus pose and pay attention to the breath. 

Try to not thinking on anything except of your breath. Lighten up and exhale,  and keep track of how air flows through your body.

For starters this is enough know that is introduction in meditation, pranayama etc.
