63 It is the spirit that gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.
John 6:63
Jesus spoke to his disciples, teaching them that the flesh generated nothing, but that the spirit gave life.
Sometimes it is difficult, because humanly we struggle with our flesh or our humanity, and she makes us a call to satisfy her, in a momentary way, to do in large part things that do not please God, leaving results that are not nutritious for our being.
That's why it does not profit at all.
However, through this verse we can see that Jesus emphasizes that we should seek to find and do things that are profitable to the spirit, in order to bear fruits of love, peace, patience, kindness and all those who do good in our lives and who honor God.
We can achieve this by praying, reading and applying the word, adoring the Lord, and discarding all thoughts that incite us to fail God.
I must say that this can be hard, but when you have the will, it can be achieved.
God helps us, he is faithful, you must only set your heart, to achieve it.
