Update: Bitcoin, Ethereum prices see some increases on the Weekend

The price of bitcoin has been trending higher since our last markets update and is currently around the $4,275 – $4,310 and the ethereum price around $293- $296 zone on 1 October at 7:00 am UTC+01:00.

Bitcoin Price Nears $4,400

Technical indicators show the 100 Simple Moving Average (SMA) is still well above the 200 SMA which means some upside is still in the cards. Order books show deep resistance at the $4400 territory and buyers will have to work a touch harder to move past the sell walls. The two-week daily trendline is on the upswing, and we may see some consolidation between the $4150 – $4400 range over the course of the next 48 hours. The bitcoin price headlined the week-long rally with a 14% climb.

Ethereum Price cross $300

The ethereum price did not quite keep up with the pace of bitcoin’s rally, but it did manage a weekly gain of 8%. This was quite significant, especially considering that Korea’s ICO ban has a much deeper impact on ethereum than bitcoin and most altcoins. Altogether, the ethereum price gained nearly $20 for the week and is now valued at a global average of $300.
