Fellow DasCoinaires, it is time to update your Ledger Wallet powered Validator software to enjoy new Daswallet features that is about to be launched this week.
We’re happy to let you know that a new Validator software update is now live!
In order to ensure that everything in the new DasWallet functions smoothly and efficiently, you will need to do a manual update of the DasCoin application on your Validator device. To do this, simply go through the following steps:
Here is how to update your Validator software in order to enjoy the newly introduced Daswallet features that is about to go live this weekend.
- Download the Ledger Manager application from Google Chrome web store
- Open the Ledger Manager application on your computer
- Connect your Validator hardware to your computer via USB and input your pin number
- In the list of installed applications, find the DasCoin application and click on the “bin” icon to uninstall it
- Confirm your wish to uninstall on your Validator device and wait until it is completed
- Now click on the green “download” icon next to the “bin” icon to install the new version (1.1.4) of the application
ALERT!
If you are having challenges in installing or deleting the Dascoin Application from your file, please make sure you first upgrade the Ledger Manager application firmware before you attempt it. If after that it still doesn't work, kindly contact the Ledger Wallet support for help so that they can help you remotely with the next level of help.Please note that you MUST have the new version of the DasCoin application installed for the Validator hardware to properly function with DasWallet.
