Iron Man (Body armour for Avenger Infinity War Part 1)
ron Man is set to fly again in Avengers: Infinity War, and it looks like he’ll be doing it in a shiny new set of armor, one that may be based off of one of the character’s most recent comic book armors.
Based on the description from ComicBook.com’s Brandon Davis, who was at D23 and saw the Avengers: Infinity War footage, the armor is mostly red and has a modular and rounded look to the design. Based on Davis's description, it seems that the armor may be based on the Iron Man Armor Model 51, also known as the Model-Prime Armor.
Tony Stark was inspired to build the Model-Prime armor after Riri Williams, a 15-year-old MIT student, was able to reverse engineer some of Tony's own Iron Man armor designs. Feeling that he’d fallen behind the technological curve, Tony locked himself in his lab to play catch up. The armor he created, Armor Model 51, was capable changing its shape and color to match whatever need Tony had in a given moment. Essentially, the Model-Prime Armor was all of Tony’s past armors in one suit.
