I don’t know if you have ever heard of this candy-candy fruit because it is a wild fruit bearing plant that grows everywhere in the Philippines.

This dark green candy-candy fruit will soon turn to a ripe golden yellow.
The structure is this plant is just a long vine which has small stem in every 5-10 inch which has flowers or candy-candy fruit on it.
The candy-candy fruit is covered by a beautiful mask of net bud or somewhat net vines which protects the fruit from falling and blown away by the wind.

Inside the fruit are seeds with tasty and delicious meat and juice around it.
Kids loves this in our town, even if it isn’t ripe many would want to eat it since it taste sourly sweet.

This sweet and innocent candy-candy fruit can be made into a wine if it will just be preserved, but I won’t choose the ripe one I’ll choose the dark green once since they give the best taste to this fruit.
