Portrait of 'Aura' Teaches Physicists About the Fields of Human Energy Affected by Love, Illness, and Much More

Russian physicist Dr. Konstantin Korotkov has brought the old method of photographing "aura" into the 21st century. Kirlian photography was rooted in the 17th century, but actually survived in the 1940s. This method, developed by Russian inventor Semyon Kirlian, involves placing objects on metal plates lined with photographic films. Plates are then filled with electric current. As the film is developed, it shows objects with colorful fields around them. Some people say Kirlian photography shows a bioenergy field, others say that it's just ordinary heat or humidity.

Some have referred to this field as "aura," the energy that comes from the body associated with spirituality. Others say that it is only produced by body heat or humidity.

Kirlian himself said the strength or weakness of the field can show good health or disease. Korotkov is one of the scientists who continue to use Kirlian techniques. He understood the Kirlian effect as an energy field similar to that of chi discussed in traditional Chinese medicine. He uses it to prevent and treat illness.

Korotkov created the first Kirlian digital device in 1995 and continued to refine its technology. He has used it in many experiments to test how illness, love, anger, and many other factors affect "aura."

Through this experiment he has become convinced that Kirlian photography not only absorbs moisture or heat from the body, but also deals with deeper energy.

Corotations that Korotkov found between the energy channels in traditional Chinese medicine with the terrain displayed by Kirlian photography are among the reasons that he believes that this effect is not explained by ordinary heat and humidity.

He measured the aura, or Kirlian effect, and has developed mathematical parameters to analyze its relation to the energy and functions of different parts of the body. By doing so, he has found that understanding Chinese traditional medicine regarding energy channels and meridians is true.

He has learned that love and positive things are essential to a healthy aura; people's thoughts can affect the auras of others, even from a distance; and that classical music helps to reinforce the aura.

Some Kirlian photography critics will remain loyal, Korotkov admits, because the use of this technique is incompatible with Western scientific approaches in general.

"We are based on traditional Chinese medicine, not all doctors accept the idea," he said. "They need to go deeper into the study to understand this, and ... many doctors or scientists are too busy to do that."

"Plus we are talking about the physical body, mind, consciousness, soul," he continued. "[Western doctors] are based on a materialistic approach when they think only of the physical body. They do not accept the consciousness and the soul. That is why I am not afraid that it is not widely accepted in medical science. Because he came, step by step, but he will come. "

Korotkov uses Kirlian photography in preventative medicine, not only in treating the symptoms after the disease occurs.

She gave the example of a woman who came to her with various symptoms, including fatigue, depression, and pain in her various parts of her body. She takes a variety of pills for her every condition.

Using Kirlian photography, he discovers weak aura parts and recommends exercises to strengthen the energy in the area. He gets faster and stops taking pills. Thousands of doctors around the world are now using this approach successfully, Korotkov said.

In ancient China, doctors were responsible for maintaining the health of people; They get paid when people are healthy, he says. However, in Western medicine, the way it works is the opposite. Health professionals and pharmaceutical companies make money when people are sick.

He is not against Western medicine; his wife is a medical doctor. He even thinks that his approach can work with Western medicine.

"If people have severe problems, such as heart attacks, then they should go to the hospital and be treated," he said. "To prevent this severe situation, we need to use the power of this integrated drug and traditional medicine, because it has tremendous power to keep people healthy."

Negative emotions destroy one's energy field as well as other people's fields, Korotkov said.

A person's aura is reinforced by positive feelings such as joy, humor, and love, Korotkov says. "If people have negative emotions - anger, envy - then it will reduce the energy field, make the energy field shrink and sometimes even disappear," he said.

Negative emotions directed at a person can reduce the person's energy field too, even from a distance, according to Korotkov's research.

He has taken photos of two people who fall in love and find their aura mingling. Conversely, two people without an emotional connection have a gap between their auras.

Love heals

"When we fall in love, we transfer this energy, not only in our imagination, but it is a real physical transformation of physical energy," he said. "That's why people when they have loving people, they heal them. They can send positive emotions and help the healing process. "

A healthy person has a strong and full field. The sick have a hole or break in the field, Korotkov said.

Further exploring the relationship between loving others, Korotkov finds that a person's field responds when someone they love is nearby, even if the loved one is invisible. This shows that emotional bonding allows one to intuitively sense the presence of others without the usual five senses.

Classical music and meditation create a more stable aura of health.

Korotkov has studied the effects of music on a person's aura. Classical music has a positive effect. Intense rock music increases the energy for some time, but produces a steeper decline thereafter.

While listening to classical music can help maintain a steady aura, the best method is meditation and practice like yoga or qigong, Korotkov said.

'Together, we create the field of collective consciousness.'

Korotkov concluded his research: "After more than 30 years of research, we understand that we are not only a material body, we are much more than that. We have a mind, consciousness and it is not just in our brain, it is outside. So, we expand our awareness, we extend our spirit out into the environment. Together, we create a collective field of consciousness. "

"If we produce positive emotions, if we produce positive feelings, then we influence others in a positive way. If we produce negative emotions and feelings, then we influence others in a very negative way, "he said. "Only with our positive feelings, with a positive attitude to each other ... we can make our world better."
