Safety they say is relative. Many people never feel safe throughout their lifetime. While some take immense measures to protect themselves and loved ones
Where are you most safe? Are you thinking about places where you can retreat and hide from the world? If so, i present to you the TEN most secure places on earth.. Enjoy

  1. Fort Knox
    Fort Knox is located in Kentucky south of Louisville. Fort Knox holds valuable monetry assets of the united states reported to be tons of gold – 5,000 tons at last estimate (equal to about 2% of ALL Gold ever mined from the Earth). To make it safe enough a military camp is located not too far from the fort knox and there is also a bank vault situated in a deep basement of the bank with a 250 ton door to mark its entrance.

  1. Cheyenne Mountain
    Located just outside of the colorado springs, also in the United states It is the command center and control, communication and the intelligence center for both the United States Space Command missions and the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). It was built during the peak of the cold war. Reportedly, the facility is strong and secure enough to survive a multimegaton nuclear detonation within 1 nautical mile of it’s location. It also posseses different blast doors that reportedly weigh 25Tons each.

  2. Haven Co
    About six miles off the coast of britain the Haven Co. Is Located in the Sealand in the North sea. Although, a company based founded in the year 2000. The company provides data protection. Only Authorized personnel, staff members or a Royal family member are granted entry Although services for HavenCo ceased without explanation in 2008, it’s an example of the type of “island data haven” that is very secure.

  1. Area 51
    Although there are famed stories believed to be true this area located in las vegas' remote deserts is more than just strange. Apart from it being on of the most secure location It is a United States military base which is a detachment from Edwards Air Force Base in CA. The occurence of this place is oblivious to anyone except its workers and the president of the USA. Area 51 which is also known by names such as Groom Lake, Dreamland, Paradise Ranch, is believed to be a testing ground for advanced and experimental aircraft.

  2. Air Force One
    Considered one of the most secure moving location where the some of the world's finest planes are built, Air Force One has plenty of security. The President of The US travels in a modified Boeing 747-200B series aircraft possesing the world’s most advanced flight avoidance, air-to-air defense, and electronics technology packages available anywhere in the World, all for the protection of the Protection of the President and his Entourage

  3. ADX Prison
    The Administrative Maximum Facility (ADX for short) is a supermax prison for men in Colorado housing from the bad to worst criminals considered as the US' most dangerous cons thereby earning itself the nickname as “Alcatraz of the Rockies.” Also described as “a cleaner version of hell” by one of its former warden, security measures at the prison include 1,400 remotely controlled steel doors, high razor wire fencing, attack dogs guarding the area between the prison walls and 12 ft. motion detecting laser beams, security cameras and pressure pads. Current residents of the prison include infamous “Shoe Bomber” Richard Reid, 9/11 terrorist mastermind Zacarias Moussaoui, and Oklahoma City bombing conspirator Terry Nichols And a host of many others.

  4. The 1960’s Bar
    This 100 feet underground Bar located within Britain’s secret subterranean Burlington bunker complex in Wiltshire, England, the 1960’s Bar is a recreation of a pub popular with British Government officials. Being a top secret base, it was first constructed during the Cold War with the designation of being a refuge for the higher-ups to reconstruct Britain in case of a nuclear attack.Needless to say they figured they would need a few pints to wait out the radiation.

  5. Bold Lane
    The bold lane was first designed by an agricultural engineer who had the window of his car smashed and his radio stolen while in an airport parking structure. Located in Derby, England, this car park is multi-storied strong enough for 400+ cars. Sophisticated security measures include CCTV cameras, bar-code scanning entry doors, panic buttons and advanced sensors controlled by a central computer which detects any and all movements of each car. Although the price for keeping your car safe comes at just over $30 dollars an hour in this location in the UK isn’t cheap.

  6. Deposed Iraqi Leader Saddam Hussein’s Baghdad Bunker
    Originally designed to withstand the blast of a nuclear bomb and house 50 people The 2,150 square-yard bunker is Located nearly 100 feet underground, security measures for the Dictator’s refuge included three-ton Swiss-made doors, a 6ft-thick steel-reinforced concrete ceiling, 5ft thick walls and two escape tunnels. During the War The bunker survived seven American dropped bunker busters and 20 cruise missles. Unfortunately, it was picked almost completely clean by iraqi soldiers and couldn’t survive looting during the last days of the war.

  7. Granite Mountain Mormon Church Records Facility
    Excavated 600ft inside and Encased in rocks at granite mountain, the records storage of the Mormon Church is a massive vault first opened in 1965. Waving metal detectors, Armed guards wands usher visitors into a concrete bunker before swinging open metal gates to a tunnel entrance. The vault features state-of-the-art environmentally controlled document storage chambers as well as a restoration laboratory for microfilm, shiping and recieving docks, administrative offices and a processing facility.

*There are other secure places in world like the white housr and a host of others but i just gave the pick of the bunch.

But I'm kinda confused of the things listed above...

Why will someone want to go to a prison???
