COSMETICS entrepreneur Nur Sajat Kamaruzzaman (pic) is unfazed by criticisms of the “sexy” half shoulder dress she wore during the 32nd Anugerah Juara Lagu, Harian Metro reported.
She uploaded several video clips on Instagram, as well as photos of the green sequinned gown, designed by Gie Ismail, from the music awards show held last Sunday.
Her posts attracted heavy criticism from many netizens.
“It is all right – I am used to being teased and criticised,” Nur Sajat said.
“They can say whatever they want because they have their rights.
“If I entertain them, their comments will only get worse. So, I have decided ... to let them speak.”
The 33-year-old was previously dragged into another controversy when the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) met with her following rumours that she might be a transgender.
Nur Sajat claimed she never felt pressured by online criticism.
“I believe that when I wore the dress and received such attention, it meant (I am) known to the public.
“The criticism will not weaken me. Instead, it will give me the strength to come forward with more unique designs,” she added. -- The Star Publication
What say you? I'd love to read your thoughts.
God is a very subjective matter. I believe that God, in all forms, exists in your mind and your soul! Who cares what other people think God is? As long as your interpretation of God doesn't hurt others, it is a good God in my book!
Well said Sean! I love you. Have a blessed Chinese New Year! <3
Love you too! Have a blessed CNY on your end too!
