How to keep your cryptocurrency safe? | 管好你的錢 !!!!
I believe most of the steemians got some cryptocurrencies, no matter you are a trader, a speculator or simply a user here, you must own some cryptoucrrencies like steem, like btc, eth, ltc, etc on hand, cryptocurrency becomes more and more popular, increased attention also increased risks. Bitcoins and many other altcoins use decentralised control as opposed to the traditional centralised currency and banking system. So, you should take responsibility for your money!
我相信大家都有不少加密貨幣，不論你是一個投資者，炒賣家，什至只是這裡的用戶，你最起碼大家都一定會有steem，什或乎btc, eth, ltc等等等等。隨著加密貨幣愈來愈普及和盛行，愈多的注意力表示愈高的風險。 加密貨幣基于去中心化的共識機制，跟傳統依赖中心化監管的银行金融體系相對。因此，你更需要好好保管你的錢包，你對你的錢擁有控制權，同時你必須對你的錢負責，採取良好的措施來保護你的錢是你責任。
Keep your cryptocurrency offline, especially when you are holding high amount of cryptocurrency that you want to keep those safely, of course high amount is a very subjective statement, it's your choice.

A Hardware wallet is a physical device which stores the user's private key. You can simply carry around your hardware wallet like a normal one and use it as and when you please. Together with the USB cable which you can use it to plug into your laptop or desktop to do all your transactions. It basically solves the problems in hot wallet (-insecure) and cold wallet (cannot directly make transaction from them), the hardware wallet gives you the secure as at cold wallet together makes transaction simple as the hot wallet.

It is a good practice to disturb different assets into different source of wallets. For instance, put small amount of tokens into the hot wallets, the exchanges for quick transfer, kinda treat it your real wallet today. Distribute different tokens in different ledger, paper wallet, desktop.

- Generate your private keys in a secure and offline environment.
- Back up ! Remember to do back-up of your private keys to avoid hard drive failure or any other problems.
- Encrypt ! I am sure you will regret if you didn't do so when you lose your wallet.
- Distribute ! Distribute the coins in different wallet!
- 在安全及離線的情況下創私你的私钥。
- 備份 ! 緊記一定要為你的私钥備份防止硬盤損壞或其他事故。

最近以太被盗的太多了。
沒錯，放在交易所實在太沒安全感了。
我反而觉得可靠的交易所更安全点，这次是智能合约漏洞导致的，你就算私钥没泄露 一样难以避免。
很多人买币也就是单纯投机，选择一个安全的交易平台可能更为重要
離線錢包價格太高, 這是不理想的。起碼我不願以 HKD588的價錢去買一支nano S。期待中國製造便宜的離線錢包，把價錢拉回合理水平。起碼要跌至HKD200以下, 我才願意去買。
如果你持有數十萬的cryptocurrency就不是這個說法了。
