Queen Elizabeth Tattles on Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s ‘Naughty’ Habit
It is so easy to admit that Prince George and Princess Charlotte are absolutely adorable. As the older of the two and heir to the throne, 4-year-old Prince George has to watch out for his younger sister and teach her all the tricks of being part of the royal family.Princess Charlotte, on the other hand, is known as the entertainer of the family, and royal fans agree with Prince William’s description of her as a “delight.”
“My daughter Charlotte loves dancing,” he said to guests at a service to mark Commonwealth Day at Westminster Abbey.
But just because they are a prince and a princess, does not mean that they are immune from childhood mischief.
In fact, Queen Elizabeth II revealed that her grandchildren can be downright naughty in a documentary titled “The Queen’s Green Planet.”The queen was talking about Christmastime at Buckingham Palace, and how her grandchildren get into trouble together.
Neil Turner, a senior castle attendant, told the queen how hard he had worked decorating the tree.“Yes, that is always the problem,” Queen Elizabeth replied, “is the children love knocking those (decorations) off.”She did offer some advice on how to keep the ornaments on the tree instead of being knocked off by the prince and princess.
“And the great thing is to make them decorate it, and they’re a bit more careful,” she said.
As the world anxiously awaits royal baby number three, we can’t help but wonder if the next baby will join the siblings in their mischievous habits.
No matter what, it’s safe to say we’ll fall in love with this new little bundle of joy just like we did when Prince George and Princess Charlotte were born.Submit your story here, and subscribe to our best uplifting stories here
