Bitcoin recovers from the 1st of August setback. According to coinmarketcap.com, Bitcoin’s price rose up 11.22 percentage points in the last 24 hours, reaching a new all-time high of 3171$. On the other hand, Bitcoin cash, lost 34.56 points, which marks the biggest loss of any of the top 50 cryptos during the 24-hour period. Total market cap of cryptos held at $101.808 billion on Friday, losing 4$ billion from Wednesday, a loss attributed to Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin remains the dominant Cryptocurrency, commanding 46.49% of the market compared to Ethereum’s 20.765%.
Ethereum went up by 7.84 percentage points in the last 24 hours, standing at 240$.
Ripple, the number three crypto with a $6.667 billion market capitalization, gained 3.14 points in the 24-hour period, having fallen to $0.18 since its May 21 peak of $0.354959.
Litecoin, number 5 behind bitcoin cash, was the first crypto besides bitcoin to post a gain in the 24-hour period, adding 5.48 points as the price reached $45, trying to reclaim its historic high of $53.60 on July 4.
Seventh-ranked Ethereum Classic gained 2.6 points when the price rose to $15.47.
Eighth-ranked Dash was the next crypto to gain in the period, grabbing 2 points, standing at 194.7$. Dash has been struggling to regain the $222.53 high posted on July 6.
Tenth-place Monero grabbed 11.44 points as the price reached $48.75 in a bid to reclaim the historic June 12 high of $49.79.
