Ivana Trump Fights to Save Her Name for Merchandising and Entertaining

Ivana Trump is scrambling to get back ownership of her good name during a time when being affiliated with the Trumps can mean big money.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, Ivana petitioned to revive her trademark of “Ivana Trump” after it was recently abandoned because she neglected to describe what she wanted to use the mark for, and also provide proof that she’s given her consent for the application that was filed.

After the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office pulled the ripcord on Ivana’s name and deemed it abandoned, she filed documents claiming she didn’t mean to ignore the requests, but claims she received the paperwork too late and couldn’t make the USPTO’s deadline. She wants the name revived ASAP.

This time, Ivana included her John Hancock along with the description of her plans for “Ivana Trump,” citing “Books and magazines in the field of celebrities, beauty and health aids, entertaining and business management.”

Late last year Ivana went on a book tour with her memoir “Raising Trump,” in which she describes her life raising three kids (Ivanka, Don Jr. and Eric) with President Donald Trump.

It’s unclear if she has anymore page-turners in the works, but getting back ownership of her name allows Ivana to cash in while her moniker is one of the most talked about in the world … seriously, it’s Yuuuuuge.
