Day 14 CTPTalk #2020Vision Challenge: My Last "At Home" Beer Till Easter | Brain Training + Chess
I crack open my last Shrove Tuesday beer - my last beer "at home" until Easter. Yes, I'm giving up home drinking for Lent! However, there are a lot of parties and social events happening in town where I will be able to drink to my heart's content and beyond! But seriously, I will spend most of the next 40 days off the sauce. Even though Sundays are always "feast days" I won't break my "at home" fast until Easter.
Tonight's #2020Vision Challenge is a mental exercise: can I remember the first variation of 9 different opening systems that feature in my chess opening repertoire for White with the 1.d4 opening move?
Errata: In the video I idiotically call it the "1.d6" opening repertoire - an impossible move! LOL!
It proves to be a bit of a challenge towards the end... but practice makes perfect, as they say!
