The following photos are a narrow selection of the photographer’s visual diary. He observes the city of Sofia, Bulgaria and it’s inhabitants, seeking after the curious signs of the human condition. The author rediscovers the city with a fresh pair of eyes as he documents life on the streets for a year. The photographer explores his own feelings for the capital and captures his new impressions on film. He claims the photos are just as much portraits as they are self-portraits. With the use of his camera the photographer identifies his relationship with the city.

All photographs are shot on film and hand developed by me.
