Es un sitio turistico debido a sus hermosos paisajes y abundante fauna. Mucha gente suele ir a las playas de estos ríos durante semana santa y carnaval. Tambien es un sitio famoso por su pesca ya que se encuentran tres especies de pavón, pavón real (Cichla intermedia), pavón mariposa (Cichla orinocensis) y pavón cinchado o trucha (Cichla temensis). Tambien hay otras especies de peces de interes para el pescador como la payara, el caribe, el bagre rayado y el bagre cola roja. Existen numerosos campamentos de pesca en la zona.
It is a tourist site due to its beautiful landscapes and abundant fauna. Many people usually go to the beaches of these rivers during Easter and Carnival. It is also a place famous for its fishing since there are three species of curassow, royal curassow (Cichla intermedia), butterfly cucumber (Cichla orinocensis) and cinched cork or trout (Cichla temensis). There are also other fish species of interest to the fisherman such as payara, caribe, striped catfish and red tail catfish. There are numerous fishing camps in the area.
