South Africa ensured that they would head to Cape Town with the T20I series alive. The situation looked bleak at the halfway-mark when India posted 188 for 4 in the second T20I at SuperSport Park, Centurion. South Africa weren’t off to the ideal start while chasing. JP Duminy and Heinrich Klaasen added 93 runs off 49 balls for the third wicket to reverse South Africa’s fortunes in the limited-overs leg.

Manish Pandey started off slowly before going severe on the bowlers, targeting the midwicket region. He finished with his highest T20I score. He slammed a 48-ball 79 (Image courtesy: AFP)
MS Dhoni joined Pandey in the middle. That straight six was simply a delight. (Image courtesy: AFP)
Then this. The one over extra cover. This one, straight out of the vintage Dhoni book. He slammed 28 off his last nine balls and completed his second T20I fifty.
