In his 2014 autobiography '#2sides', Rio Ferdinand recalled a story Thierry Henry once told him about how Messi reacted to not getting a free-kick in Barcelona training after being fouled.
Messi was angry, but rather than lose his cool with the culprit, he demanded the ball from his goalkeeper, beat every player on the opposition team and scored.
Here's what Ferdinand wrote, as per Henry's words:
"So when the ball went back to his goalkeeper, he ran back and demanded the ball. The goalkeeper rolled him the ball, and Messi then proceeded to run through the entire team and score in anger."
