Korea. Seoul-Gangneung KTX Extends its Services to Incheon International Airport

KTX running from Seoul Station to Gangneung has extended its services to include Incheon International Airport and add 16 additional trains for the month of February. Olympic personnel and spectators will be able to conveniently move to Gangneung directly from the airport.

The first train departs from Incheon International Airport Terminal 2, Incheon International Airport Terminal 1, and Gangneung at 07:00, 07:11, and 05:50 respectively. The travel time is reduced dramatically by taking a maximum of two hours and 37 minutes from Terminal 2 to Gangneung, whereas the bus would take approximately three to six hours. It is even shorter from Seoul Station to Gangneung, taking approximately one hour and 42 minutes. The ticket fee from Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 Station to Gangneung Station costs 40,700 won, Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 Station to Gangneung Station 40,100 won, Seoul Station to Gangneung Station 27,600 won, and Cheongnyangni Station to Gangneung Station 26,000 won.

KTX from Incheon International Airport to Gangeung will make a stop at Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 Station, Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 Station, Seoul Station, Cheongnyangni Station, and Jinbu Station. For the period of Feb. 1-9 and 25-28, when many visitors are expected to arrive and depart, 8 trains out of 16 will run non-stop from Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 Station to Jinbu Station.
