BANANA JUICE
Banana juice can be easily be made at home, is derived from bananas. The terms bananas and plantains are often used interchangeably and there are not firm classifications. The different names depend on when they are eaten (ripe or unripe) and how they are prepared (raw or cooked).
Banana juice tends to have a thicker consistency than most fruit juices, as the juice isn’t necessarily separated from the fibrous, starchy material of the banana.
The soft nature of bananas allows for blending, particularly when mixed with milk or water. Therefore, fresh banana juice may not be the easiest juice to find, it is quite simple to prepare at home. This juice is a rich source of potassium, vitamin C, B-family vitamins, magnesium, manganese, fiber, vitamin A and various polyphenolic compounds.
Directions:
Peel about 5-7 medium-sized of bananas (as desired or depends on family seize)
Remove the extra fibers from the side of the fruit.
Cut into slices,
Add banana chunks,
Add a tin of evaporated milk (to add value)
Add water (not too much and mustn’t be watery)
Get a blender
Blend all ingredients together until smooth puree.
If it’s too thick, add few milk with a little water and blend again.
Then it’s ready to serve.
