DOHA - President Recep Tayyip Erdogan promised military support continues for Qatar in his visit to Doha on Wednesday (15/11/2017), in the middle of the political crisis which was held in the Gulf.

The agency Qatar QNA said that Erdogan also hinted 'readiness' the private sector of Turkey to help Qatar with a multi-billion for the World Cup 2022, which will take place in Qatar.

According to QNA, Erdogan has been in talks with Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani in the visit.

The QNA also said that the two countries signed several agreements of finance, tourism and research. "Erdogan stressed support on Turkey to Qatar in various fields, especially in the industry and the military," the QNA.

Turkey has a military base in Qatar, according to the Ankara facility to hold about 3,000 troops.

During her visit, Erdogan visited the military base in Turkey with senior officials of the Qatar, including Defence Minister Khalid bin Mohamed al Attiyah.
