Introducing the current progress of the Linker Coin ICO project that is gaining many interest as reliable and transparent.
Blockbank who will unlock the future of finance through fintech opened a cryptocurrency seminar on the 9th of December with special guests — Lawyer Jaeyoon Jeong from law firm Hyun acting as an advisory lawyer of Linker Coin and Soonwu Hwang the representative tax accountant of Soonwuri tax accounting firm.
Blockbank has been running seminars all over the country and this time held the 8th seminar that ran for 4 hours split into part 1 and part 2, and is gaining many people’s attention with the largest number of participants so far.
In part 1, the session was held regarding the ‘cryptocurrency regulation legislation and the imposition of tax’ which was in many people’s recent interests following the arguments of pros and cons regarding the cryptocurrency policies and preparation by other countries and the government. In part 2, the session discussed the current progress of the Linker Coin ICO project, which has been attracting attention due to its reliability and transparency and a briefing session on CoinX Open Beta.
Lawyer Jaeyoon Jeong from law firm Hyun currently acting as Linker Coin’s advisory lawyer explained about the recent controversy of cryptocurrency regulation and ICO laws, stating that “It is necessary to understand the applicable laws by classifying ICO enforcement, criminal enforcement for using cryptocurrency, and self-enforcement of cryptocurrency trading”. Also, he explained “it is hard to be deceitful when proceeding with an ICO in the way of protecting consumers about the law of similar reception behavior, capital market and financial investment law and visit sales”.
As controversial the cryptocurrency policy was, another topic that became a hot issue was the imposition of tax which was lectured by the representative tax accountant of Soonwuri accounting firm, Mr Soonwu Hwang. Mr Hwang said, “The US, UK, Australia and Japan are applying tax on some parts of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, and South Korea is also seeing a move on this and is drawing many people’s attention to what type of regulations will be set.” and that in the present situation, it may be difficult to impose taxes on cryptocurrency at the moment, but it has been requested to explain the various kinds of national taxes and the necessity of news checks which changes at a fast pace.
In the Linker Coin project briefing in part 2 the major source code explanations and strategies being carried forward such as the Linker Coin burning function were revealed and the explanation of the CoinX exchange open beta version that is run by the Linker Coin Foundation was made. CoinX is currently operating an open beta service for a set period before the official launch to meet the participants’ needs and at the same time resolve the problems in the exchange. A ‘Mock Investment Competition’ is also running at the same time with the maximum prizemoney of 3000 Linker Coins.
Meanwhile, the Linker Coin’s ICO is running the crowd sale until the 31st of this month and is planning to be listed on the self-operated CoinX exchange together with the close of the ICO.
