Is bitcoin the currency of the future

Bitcoin has triple in value  in the last 12 months reached a high of almot $3000 on June 12.  Experts at the bank say that bitcoin are more like investment vehicles than normal currency issued by the government which could be spend on goods and services. It is more inconvenient way to paymo suing bitcoin than a debit or credit card

Many tech billionaire like Mark Cuban have called ita "bubble. GS also sounded the alarm on bitcoin in a note sent to its clients and predicted a price of $2000 

Recently China's governemnet has lifted their bans on three largest bitcoin exchanges on client withdrawals and Japan's government naming it a legal payment

The US Securities and Exchange Commission took public comment on its prior decision to reject the Winklevoss twins' exchange-traded fund . It is unclear when an updated ruling will be handed down.
