KheZu, MP Part Ways with Team Secret
Over the past few years, a tradition of the sort has been developing in the eSports industry. This tradition relates to roster changes that take place after the end of any major eSports event. That being said, with the end of The International 2017, comes the first roster change.
The team to kick off the tradition is none other than Team Secret. The team did quite well in the tournament, but due to few mishaps, they failed to reach the TI7 top eight bracket. No one would have expected this team to change up since they had been quite good together. But, like they say, good things don’t last forever.
Team Secret’s Maurice ‘KheZu’ Gutmann and Noa ‘MP’ Pyo have officially stated that they are stepping down from the team’s active roster. The two players have yet to announce if they are retiring for good, or if they are switching teams. For now, they are no longer a part of Team Secret.
“Thank you, everyone, I do not know what the future holds, but, I can say that I’m so ready. I’ve always been motivated but I’ve just received a kick in the a**, and I’m channeling all the negatives from this situation into positives. ” – Maurice ‘KheZu’ Gutmann
Hopefully, we will see two new players joining in the next few days, which could include some big names. As you all know, Team Secret always has a few secrets up its sleeve. The team’s current roster is left with Zheng ‘MidOne’ Yeik Nai, Yazied ‘YapzOr’ Jaradat and Clement ‘Puppey’ Ivanov.
