Fighting hunger with food security

Do you know you can feed someone,somewhere and somehow with just a click? Do you know you can protect our environment from further degradation with just a click?

I have read alot of news headlines, heard about government policies, read whitepapers and MOUs on diversification of oil producing countries economies from oil to agriculture.

I have read much about World organizations efforts against food shortages and improving food security.

Also alot has been said about mitigating climate change.

Are we really doing enough, or we are only paying lip services?

If you check my blog, you will see that i am agriculture enthusiast, i have great passion for agricultural development in order to increase food production.

Many of these organizations are trying their best, but what have we as individuals done to salvage the situation.

After a while of thinking about how to contribute my positive quota towards the development agriculture, i decided to come up with an idea of an Agriculture Development Crowdfunding towards Agricultural development in my community, then covering larger areas later.

Aims and Objectives

*To tackles food shortage and improve food security by providing quality and viable seeds to farmers to plant.

*Providing tree crop seedlings to farmers, rural dwellers and urban centres with free large spaces for tree planting.

This will serve as means of livelihood for the farmers and rural dwellers by selling the fruits after maturity, it will increase the availability of this fruits in the market for consumption at cheaper rates. In the urban centres trees that emeges will be a means of reducing the damages from climate change caused by massive deforestation.

**Method**

This Agricultural development crowdfunding post will be made every other day, and the post payout value equivalent after curation will be used to purchase seed and seedlings for free delivery to those concerned and update with feed backs given.
Any act of kindness or social responsibility we engage in today will always have their way of repaying us. It might not be in this generation but the next.
