Panasonic Product Warranty Terms and Conditions
The warranty period of Panasonic products shall be one (1) year for labor and parts from the date of purchase. The warranty shall apply if the defective product has been inspected by a CS representative of Panasonic Manufacturing Philippines Corporation (PMPC) or by any Panasonic Authorized Service Center (PASC). This warranty applies for products sold by Panasonic Manufacturing Philippines Corporation (PMPC) within the Philippines only.
To avail the product warranty, fill up completely the product warranty certificate, attach copy of any proof of purchase and send thru email or by post office within one (1) month from the date of purchase.
a. For locally made refrigerators and aircontioners, an additional warranty of four (4) years for compressor is provided. However, the following expendable items such as refrigerant, external overload protector, relay, filter drier, labor and transportation cost are excluded.
For split type or package aircon, customer should secure a copy of the start up checklist after start up from Panasonic Authorized Installer or Panasonic Authorized Service Center and must be present for compressor warranty application purposses.
b. For inverter refrigerators, an additional warranty of eleven (11) years for compressor is provided. However, the following expendable such as refrigerant, external overload protector, relay, filter drier, labor and transportation cost are excluded.
c. For fully automatic washing machine, an additional motor warranty of eleven (11) years is provided. However, the following expendable items such as labor and transportaion cost are excluded.
d. For electrictic fan, an additional motor warranty of two (2) years is provided excluding labor cost.
e. For LCD projectors, an additional of one (1) year is provided. Moreover, the warranty period for LCD projector lamps is six (6) months or 500 hours, whichever comes first.
f. Only Panasonic Authorized Service Center or Authorized Installer should survey, install, clean, and maintain split and package air conditioners, otherwise, warranty will be null and void.
g. The installation of Window Type air conditioner shall be done by Panasonic Authorized Service Center.
The warranty is not transferable and does not apply to damages caused by ants, rodents, insects, and arising from accidents, improper use or abuse, natural disaster such as floods, typhoons, lightning, earthquakes among others and failure to follow operating instructions and specification provided. Moreover, the units are not recommended to be operated with the use of a generator sets is deemed necessary as back up source of power, it should be operated at the allowable voltage condition of 207 - 253 volts or 60 hz only.
If the serial number is removed, obliterated, and defaced or the unit is installed faultly, tampered with or altered by anyone other than a duly authorized service personel of PMPC or ot's PASC, this warranty will be considered void.
Supplied and external accesories indicated in the operating manual are excluded from this warranty. Exterior surface, paint finish, light bulb, glass shelves, and all other surface parts damaged (scratches or dents) due to mishandling by the user are excluded from this warranty.
