WhatsApp is testing a new feature called 'Restricted Groups'. With the help of this feature, the part of the Group Administrator will have more power than ever before. According to WABetaInfo, Whatsapp has given the 'Restricted Groups' features in version 2.17.430 on the Google Play Beta Program.

Restricted Groups' setting can be activated only by group administrators. After this, the admin can send photos, videos, chats and other things in the group as usual, but other members can restrict them from doing so.

After the setting of the Restricted Groups setting, other members will be able to read the message in the group, but they will not be able to send anything. They will be given a 'message admin' button, so they can send their message to the group admin so that they share it with the group.

Only after accepting the message by the Group Administrator, it can be shared in the group.
