Before becoming a renowned football star, Neymar climbed the ladder like everyone else.

A rising star with Santos, Neymar soon made his debut with Brazil and quickly became THE player to watch.

In order to make it to the top, Neymar took inspiration from his heroes, including a certain Lionel Messi. The Argentine made a significant impact on Neymar’s evolution as a player, even before they played together.

In the end, the Brazilian found himself playing alongside La Pulga with FC Barcelona.

The student hasn’t passed up his master, but he’s certainly become one of the greatest players in the world today.
