WHY EVERYONE NEEDS A PROJECT LIKE QUADRANT PROTOCOL
Do you think the present day data providers are meeting up with the consumers need? The answer is capital NO. Lol.... One may be wondering why I chose no as an answer, the reason is that civilization has taken the world and this century most human activities are carried out online owing to this age of internet of things (IoT). Also, reports have it that both companies and individuals that produce artificial intelligence (AI) always insert a huge demand on data providers annually. However, data providers have seized this opportunity to extort money from data consumers by offering them with poor services such as; incomplete data, insecure data source, unsustainable data feeds and fake/unauthentic data.
In no doubt, this dilemma has affected many of us in one way or the other. Imagine the trauma caused when carrying out a vital research and you ran out of internet data most especially when you don't have a dime in your bank account...LoL. That will be so frustrating.
In line with this, imagine what happens to a traveler that missed his direction in a journey and yet doesn't have a single megabyte of data in his phone.. funny enough it would resemble a suicide mission to him. However, without any atom of doubts, we can conclusively say that some people in less developed countries like Nigeria were I came from are presently experiencing this problem associated with data and it's providers, especially when there's monopoly of a data provider in such countries.
On this note, a blockchain-based project known as QUADRANT PROTOCOL have been put up by a team of experts. This project was established to end this ravaging problem surrounding data services. This is interesting, right?
ABOUT QUADRANT PROTOCOL
Quadrant is a blockchain-based protocol that enables the access, creation, and distribution of data products and services with authenticity and provenance at its core. However, Quadrant is designed to work with both centralized and decentralized services. The architecture consists of the core Quadrant blockchain, clients (Data Producer, Data Consumer, and Anchor), and Guardian Nodes.
Quadrant will operate on a Proof of Authority consensus mechanism so that it can handle more transactions, operate at a lower gas price, achieve faster transactions, and restrict malicious nodes from entering data into the network. An external Proof of Work chain will be used as an anchor for security purposes. For the time being, the Ethereum blockchain will be used for anchoring but it can be replaced by any public chain in the future if needed.
QUADRANT PROTOCOL TOKEN
The great team behind this awesome project also created two different cryptocurrency token under the ethereum blockchain: eQuad and QUAD. QUAD is a utility token designed to be used solely on the network. It will be used to stamp data, support simple and complex access structures, simple and complex subscription payments, and for staking by Elons. eQuad is an ERC-20-compliant token that will be sold during the Token Generation Event (TGE). It may be converted into QUAD via a gateway when the Quadrant mainnet is launched.
