A Random Though of You

I can't quite recall the moment that "I" had become "we" - it was a subtle yet powerful convergence; like 2 rivers which silently meet to share a kiss beneath a willow tree. And, that's all for which I had ever dreamed; to stand with you in a cool rush of air, under the immense expanse of the sky and her winking moon; to float endlessly on the jeweled night ocean waters, with scars pinned to my chest - like gold and silver badges of honor - as I raise my brow to the heavens too greet the stars which twinkle above our eyes as our lips softly meet. It will be in that moment that we will find ourselves on the precipice of madness - on the verge of joy, sorrow, death, and rebirth - it will be then that the chaotic beauty of life will unfold; in a blade of grass, in a glimmer of light, in the vastly silent stillness of solitude which screams in the night - in that which can only be found in your eyes.

My sweet, dear woman; let me anoint your crown with oils and perfume - your forehead shines with precious divinity. Kind and earthly woman; let me swim in that which your cup hath spilleth over - baptize me in your soft white glow. In return, I offer no more than that which any mortal may; to place rose petals at your feet and sing your name immortal.

Come, walk with me, my love; stroll with me in forests of purple twilight - the creatures of the woods have woven a mandala for me and you. Let us stain our tapestry with the colors of our souls and plant our seeds 'neath the firmament; to split the stony soil and stretch our naked bodies toward the sun in earthly rite as we grow and blossom with delight. It is here where we will consume each other - as lovers often do - and ignite the eternal flame which completes the sacred hoop.
