¿Qué es la gripe estomacal?
Hola a todos, esto de gripe estomacal es nada mas ni menos que gastroenteritis viral, publico esto porque me sorprendió el término de "gripe estomacal" que es un termino popular y todo porque se presentan síntomas parecidos a los de la gripe, según pude leer afecta a millones de personas en el mundo, inflama los intestinos y el estomago, y es causada por virus como: rotavirus, norovirus, adenovirus, astrovirus, entre otros. Poco puede hacerse para evitar esta enfermedad, entre las medidas a tomar recomiendan extremar las medidas de higiene.
Se le conoce como gripe estomacal porque pueden presentarse síntomas parecidos al de un resfriado o gripe. Estudios publicados por Baylor Collage of Medicine revelan que se trata de una gastroenteritis.
Síntomas
Escalofríos
Fiebre
Sudoración
Rigidez en las articulaciones
Dolor muscular
(en algunas ocasiones)
Vómito (en ocasiones)
Es causada por un virus, por lo que es necesario eliminarlo por medio de antibióticos y cuidado de hábitos. Ya que es una enfermedad crónica que podría complicarse; incluso, algunos antibióticos podrían afectar más el intestino.
Recomendaciones
Beber líquidos abundantemente
Evitar lácteos
Evitar alimentos grasosos
No consumir irritantes
No automedicarse
Esta última, es muy importante; ante los síntomas de la gripe estomacal, se debe acudir a su médico para el diagnóstico y el tratamiento adecuado. Esta enfermedad es curable, siempre y cuando se sigan las indicaciones.
