Hello, fellow crypto lovers! Crypto Moonboy is here with his first Steemit article.

Today I’ll be providing you with a nifty tool and info on how to keep track of your cryptocurrency numbers: the coins, the market fluctuations and the equivalent fiat currency (USD/EUR/etc) profits. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have this data stored conveniently on your phone and to check it in a glimpse? Luckily, there’s a solution to that.

Step 1. Download and install the Coin Stats app, available for Android and iOS devices.

Step 2. Learning the GUI

On the main page, you can view the market, with the progress of each coin on display.
By tapping on a certain currency, you can see its fiat worth, its value over time and the main website of the respective cryptocurrency.



The second tab – Altfolio – is the place where you can monitor each of your currencies. By swiping to the left or to the right, you can quickly switch between them.

The Settings, News and Converter tabs are pretty self-explanatory, so there’s no need to insist on them.

Step 3. Creating a portfolio

On the Altfolio tab, press the plus button from the upper-right corner. This will bring up a list of currencies that can be added. Select one of them and a new menu will pop out.

Enter the total amount of currency bought/sold, its purchase date/time (optional) and the price at which you bought/sold it (only type in the value of 1 unit, not the value of the full transaction). After that, tap on "Select Portfolio – Add New Portfolio". This will be the portfolio for the currency you possess.  

After these steps, it should look similar to this.  


Confirm by pressing the Add button from the bottom part of the screen.

Step 4. Monitoring your profits

After you’ve completed step 3 for each of the crypto that you own, you should be able to see the portfolios, the total amount of money invested and the profits (on the upper left side).



If you don’t want to switch in and out of the app to verify this info, you can always use the provided widgets.
