Problem Statement
Day in day out, the number of gamers and streamers are rapidly Increasing yet the game creators are still reliant on sponsored content where they have to pay ad companies for services rendered. Then again, it is quite absurd because the markets are expanding but those benefits are not trickling down to developers because of high cost of customer acquisition.
This has negatively impacted players and influencers who are constantly clamped down from low revenue and the fact that they always have to compete with rule makers in the ad industry. With the increasing number of streamers, developers are overwhelmed. Game developers try to give offers paid referrals to influential gamers, but this too is proving expensive besides encountering scammers along the way.
The distribution companies have not given game developers an easy time either from the 30 % cut of revenue imposed on the developers and the rules that keep changing without notice. Their lack of transparency, frequent fraudulent activities and credit card chargebacks have posed a huge challenge. This is on top of increasing the cost of game distribution through influencers.
These are a number of problems that Refereum looks to solve.

Refereum is an Ethereum based decentralizing referral based platform and marketplace for games that pay you where game developers and industry leaders or influencers are connected in one platform.

Already, the system has been adopted by more than 300K streamers and gamers making it the surest and easiest way of buying games through blockchain. By integrating Twitch and Discord Channel, Refereum has opened a door for any person in the gaming world to become influencers and earn money by simply getting referrals in a fraud-free environment.
One earns tokens which can be converted to cash or can be used to buy new content. Fraudulent activities have been minimized due to the transparency involved and with referrals written in the blockchain.
Influencers have been given their freedom back and they are able to choose relevant content for their consumers. When one meets a certain number of followers they are provided with free games by developers with no risks involved.
Developers can now reward their consumers for being their official marketing team, the revenue is only shared after successful purchases.This way, developers are saved from paying the 30% fee imposed on them by distributors. Furthermore, Refereum allows developers to incentivize their games without having to worry about the high expenses they used to incur.

Refereum has a formidable team that consists of 9 well-qualified members and 3 advisors who are well informed in areas related to gaming and digital advertising. They have had past experiences in working in companies such as Google, Zynga etc.
The core team consists of Dylan Jones, the Founder of, is well equipped in the challenges of making successful games. He founded game co-working space Gamenest and advocates for decentralized systems at conferences worldwide.
Alistair Doulin, the CTO is a programmer, blogger and focused Ethereum miner while Oleskii Matiiasevych, the smart contract author is into blockchain security. Sloane Earl is the Business Development Manager.

Ico Details
Refereum plans to raise $25M from the sale of 2.5B RFR Ethereum based ERC-20 complaint tokens from their main ICO that begins on February 12, 2018 and running through March 12, 2018. In total, there would be 5B RFR tokens that can be purchased either using Bitcoin or ETH. Each RFR token will be pegged at $0.01 at any time to the ETH.
Of the 5B tokens, 20% will be reserved for the team, 20% will be preserved while 10% are meant for building and growing the platform.
There is a bonus program and investors will get a 15% bonus if they invest within the first $2M, 12% within the next $3M and 0% when more than $20M has been raised.
