For Thanksgiving this year we decided to go on a family vacation to Chattanooga Tennessee. I hadn't been to Chattanooga since I was 10 years old & neither of my wife of daughter have ever been, so we packed up the car & headed to a hotel located in Downtown Chattanooga. The hotel was centrally located & was super close to every fun to do in Chattanooga, which made it so convenient for us.

I must say I was so impressed with the city of Chattanooga, aka the scenic city. It was so clean & so laid back, & so much for a family to do on a family vacation! Lots & lots of kid friendly activities, while at the same time, there was also lots of things for adults to enjoy as well. There were several wineries & the restaurant scene was amazing!

The day started off when we arrived at our downtown hotel, & we unpacked & headed straight to Ruby Falls. We had been to Desoto caverns in Alabama, but I remember Ruby Falls just being spectacular way back when. I just don't rem it being as long as it was this go around, & was slightly disappointed that they no longer allow you to walk around the falls. But all in all, it was def still worth the tour for sure! The view of the city at night is just jaw dropping!

The next morning we woke up & headed down to the hotel lobby for the free breakfast & coffee, & we rode over the the Tennessee aquarium, & this was def our daughter's highlight of the family trip. She loved the Chattanooga aquarium! & us parents did tol! It was so nicely laid out. You were hardly ever elbow to elbow like other aquariums that we've been to. & after the tour of the aquarium, my daughter & I went to the IMAX theater located right there & while we put on our 3D glasses & enjoyed the IMAX movie. My wife walked back to the hotel & enjoyed some quiet time.

When evening time hit, we headed over to Tupelo Honey Restaurant for dinner & drove over to the enchanted christmas light show at Rock City. The crowd was huge & the wait was long, & once we did get into the rock city enchanted christmas light show, it was so crowded that we didn't stay the entire time.

The next day we again got up & enjoyed the free breakfast at the hotel, & drove back to Rock City, but not for the christmas lights, but to actually tour the Rock City Gardens & go look off Lookout Mountain & see the 7 states. & rock city didn't disappoint at all. All 3 of us loved the Rock City Gardens! After there we drove back to downtown Chattanooga & watched another IMAX movie & rode over & ate at Urban Stack restaurant. Which was a hamburger restaurant & it was awesome! That evening, we let our daughter play in the indoor hotel swimming pool & hottub.

The next day was our last day, we hit the free breakfast & rode over to lookout mountain to the incline railway. This was a very cool tour & ride, not very long, but def worth it imo. It is a 10 minute train car ride up lookout mountain & the views off of lookout mountain at the incline railway are just spectacular!! We left there & drove over to Milk & Honey & had their homemade gelato ice cream, & we loaded up, checked out at the hotel & headed back to Cog Hill Farm & Homestead.

It was such a great family vacation & super affordable & the entire family just had a blast!

Thank y'all & hope you have a wonderful day!!-Jason
