Salt water for a sore throat:


Salt water is an old -fashioned remedy to soothe a sore throat. when you have a sore throat gargling with salt water may help relieve some of the pain and irritation. For gargling use one teaspoon of salt in 250 ml of water.

Ginger for nausea:

Ginger has been used for hundreds of years for its medicinal properties. Ginger is an effective digestive aid to alleviate nausea due to chemotherapy, morning sickness during pregnancy. It works by obstructing the
serotonin receptors in the gut that cause nausea.

Oatmeal bath for skin ailments:


If anyone suffer from skin conditions like psoriasis, eczema or even just have run-of-the-mill dry skin, home remedies may help.
It may sounds wired but oatmeal baths are great for dry, itchy skin. When oatmeal socked in warm water it creates a slimy film that coats the skin to protect it and trap in moisture.

Cool tea for eye bags:


After using tea bags don't just throw them away. Tea has lots of benefits for body inside as well as outside. For eye inflammation and swelling simply wring out wet tea bags, place in the fridge for a bit and then put over eyes. Studies proved that caffeine in the tea bags helps with vasoconstriction, or shrinking of the blood vessels, around the eyes, leading to less puffiness or swelling skin. It is also found that caffeine in tea applied topically can also act as sunscreen and help prevent skin cancer.

Duct tape for warts:


Duct tape was invented during world war II. That time it was found useful in first aid. American Academy of Dermatology endorsed that placing duct tape over warts was 25 percent more effective than freezing them—and much cheaper .
to boot.

Licorice root for bad breath:


Since ancient times licorice has been known for its healing properties. This is the reason why our grandfather may have chewed on it to freshen his breath.It is also an effective agent to fight the bacteria that can cause tooth decay and periodontal disease. Studies also have shown that it may be effective at preventing stomach upset and relieving stress.

Ice for headaches:


In a study it is found that a frozen wrap placed in the front of the neck, over the carotid arteries, significantly reduced pain in migraine sufferers.

Apple for cleaning teeth:


It you forgot to carry your toothbrush and toothpaste in your travel, no worry, try munching an apple. The skin of the apple, which is extremely high in fiber, can scrub against your teeth, helping to remove tea and coffee stains. Although apples do contains acids and sugar, which can damage teeth, so rinse your mouth with water afterwards.
