Steemit Minnow Tip: A Quick And Easy Trick To Get Your Content In Front Of More People

in #steemit6 years ago (edited)

Many Steemit users are not aware that most Steemit posts do not automatically appear on Google automatically (unless they hit trending), and even the ones that do tend to take a fair amount of time before they are included on Google (at least several days after being originally posted in most cases).

Because of this you should try to add all your posts to Google manually after you create them as it only takes a few seconds to do and can GREATLY increase your total views. This is especially important on Steemit, as the first few minutes/hours after your post is posted are the best chance you have to get upvotes and added payout for your content.

To manually add your posts to Google, go to Google URL Submission Tool while logged into a Google account, and then input your posts url in the URL field and push "Submit Request". This will force Google to index your posts within seconds, instead of waiting days or sometimes even weeks for Google to find it naturally.
