Joseph Weinberg joins the SportyFi advisor team
The Co-founder & CEO of Paycase joins the SportyFi advisory team to consult on the continuous development of our business model and expansion.
With the Token Crowdsale coming up on November 21, the SportyFi team is already thinking ahead on developing a sustainable platform from a business perspective, adding Joseph Weinberg to its team of advisors.
Joseph is a well-known name in the crypto community: as CEO and Co-founder of Paycase he is revolutionizing the world of instant money transfers around the world, using cryptocurrencies to help people transfer money around the world with fees much lower than those charged by traditional remittance companies. He was also the director of Coinsetter, a New-York based cryptocurrency exchange that was acquired by Kraken in what was one of the larger mergers of notable brands in the Bitcoin ecosystem in 2016.
With his work, he is always on the crossroad of traditional finance and blockchain technology: he is on the Board of Directors of the Blockchain Association of Canada (BAC), the country’s leading voice of blockchain technology, and is also on The Fintech Advisory Committee of the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), advising the OSC staff on developments in the fintech space as well as the unique challenges faced by fintech businesses in the securities industry.
Joseph will consult the SportyFi team as a business consultant. His vast experience with both the blockchain world and the finance industry will be invaluable in building a sustainable and profitable sports investment platform.
